It works better when you hold it almost completely upright. It’s hard to hold it at almost at a 90 degree angle just to make it work.

I just bought a dyson DC17 animal and the belt broke on it (never lend it to your sister) but i can’t seem to find them anywhere does someone know where they are at??
they are not on any website i went too

Hi, I’m looking for a good vacuum. I’ve went through a ton in the past several years, I’m tired of them not picking up dirt and food that my son throws around. Currently I am sweeping up stuff (with a broom) and then vacuuming and still no results. I’ve seen all the comments on the Dyson, but they are so mixed. I’m looking to buy the Dyson DC07. The price is horrible, I realize, but if it works, then it’s worth the money. However, if I’m just going to have to buy a new vacuum in a few years then I will go with something else. Any thoughts? Any good ideas? Thank you so much for helping me out.

I am using part of my stimulus check to get a Dyson Animal Vacuum. I have two Golden Retreivers, that are inside dogs. Can anyone tell me the difference between the DC14 and DC17? I thought the 17 was newer and better but at some stores the 14 is on sale for the regular price of the 17. Please help! Serious answers only!

I bought a Dyson DC17 vacuum cleaner (Allergy model) and each time I use it on my wall to wall carpet, it pulls out a lot of carpet fiber. There is no height adjustment feature and I am afraid it will eat up my carpet eventually. I have a nice expensive carpet and I am afraid this vac cleaner will ruin it.
Any advise?
