It’s cool it does a fairly good job at picking up the sand and dog hair Larger stuff like pebbles or pellets from the stove are another story. it hurts if you hit your toes but for the most part it was worth it..

I bought the broom vac Jan 2007. It worked very well on my kitchen tile and my hardwood floors. I kept it on all the time while vacuuming. The charge lasted about 20 minutes…enough to get the floors finished. Emptying the dirt bin was cumbersome, but I liked the vac so well, I went ahead and ordered 5 filters. When one filled up, I put in a clean one, washed the one I had removed, then let it dry completely. I kept the vac on the charger when not in use. I was so happy with the vac that I showed it to all my friends and urged them to get one. WELL, after about 4 months, the vac began losing power after a few minutes using it. Finally, it would hold a charge no longer than one minute! I looked on line to see if I could find replacement batteries. No, I couldn’t. I found a customer help number, and when I called I was given the location of the nearest repair shop. I called the shop and was told they could repair it for free (under warranty)…… just bring in the receipt. You guessed it…..no receipt. I had cleaned out all my handbags several weeks earlier and must have thrown it out. Just my luck…I save every darn receipt I’ve ever gotten….but not this one! Anyway, I still keep the vac on the charger, and I find that after charging for a week or more, it will run about 5 minutes. Don’t buy one. If anyone had found a similar, but better vac, please let me know.

Almost all products with electrical cords carry this warning. They all have lead in them. You won’t get cancer with minimal exposure. You need to wash your hands after handling the cord.
