This is our 2nd Dirt Devil and third vacuum of this style. The Dirt Devil is definitlely a great product that lasts many years and works well. We were happy to have this one when our previous Dirt Devil had to be thrown away after many years of abuse.

This is a great Vac. This is my 2nd one, I got this on as a backup. The first one is over a year old and still strong. We use it more then once a day to pickup sand, crumbs and other bits tracked in from my 2 boys. It is way better then sweeping tile and much faster.

My mother-in-law purchased this for me on black friday for some ridiculously cheap price (between $5 and $10). Just by putting it together, you can tell it’s an extremely cheap product, made of flimsy plastic. It seems like it should be marketed as a children’s toy vacuum, except a children’s toy vac would probably be better quality. I’ve used it a total of 4 times; each of those times to clean very small spaces, like my hallway or bathroom. As I was using it tonight, it started to give off a burning smell. It is also terrible at picking up dirt…I’ve had to go over the same spots more than twice to pick up stuff it shouldn’t have any issues picking up, like small pieces of paper or grass that’s been tracked into the house. It’s sad that a company is willing to put out such a crappy product. No wonder it was so cheap. This will be going in the garbage, since I no longer have the box it came in and my mother-in-law no longer has the receipt. Who knows, maybe mine was a lemon…but in my opinion, it’s a terrible product.

Got this on sale at Target for $10 (Black Friday) and it’s a decent little machine. Great for vacuuming my area rug and hardwood floors. I wouldn’t expect this machine to clean up a large mess. Very lightweight, easy to maneuver and much quieter than a full size vac. Nice that it also transforms into a hand vac. In one use it picked up a lot of dust and cat hair that wasn’t evident. Definitely a keeper!

This little guy works great!!! It has more suction than I had anticipated, and is very quiet. I only use it for bare floors and carpet touch-ups, and it works great! I bought one for myself and was so impressed, I bought another for a friend. Susan S. in Virginia Beach, VA.
