I am considering buying this vacuum, but I’ve never spent 0 on a vacuum before. Dyson seems to get really good reviews though. Do you like this vacuum overall? Is there anything you definitely don’t like about it that I should know about before I go out and buy one?

I recommend a Dyson . Overall the best I have ever owned.
Go for it .
The Dyson DC 18 is a nice vacuum cleaner. I have tried it out. It is the lightest of the bunch and it works well. The DC 17 is able to get more firt out of your carpets, but then you compromise weight and manueverability. There was nothing I didn’t really like about it. It was just like the other Dyson’s just smaller. I am surprised at how much it is able to pick up! It has a gear-driven belt so will almmost never break belts (you probably never will break a belt). It also still has the 17-foot reach hose which is pretty cool because it is small yet still has the same features as the big machine. You can shut off the brushroll with the touch of a button to go on bare floors and it swivels kind of like a ball to get under and around everything. I would purchase the Dyson Slim from Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew. They have the lowest price on the internet. They have it for $397.99 with free shipping and no tax (provided you are not in New York). I have bought numerous things from them and it is a pleasure every time I do. Here is a link to theie web page:

I own a Dyson DC14, and it works great. It is completely worth the money, and you can believe everything said in the advertising about it.
the fact that its $500, is what i dont like, in my experience i bought one for 250, worked ok, i got one that was 75, i think, and it works sooo much better and it is still working. they say that the hoover that is half of dysons cost works just as well. the cyclonce sucking, its in alot of vaccuums now, so dyson is just a name… but if you have the $ to spend, then buy what will make YOU happy!
