Dyson lost suction–help?!?
I have a Dyson Slim vacuum and it lost suction. I accidentally sucked up a ribbon attached to a blanket and so turned off the vacuum and pulled the ribbon out of the brushbar. When I turned on the vacuum the brushbar motor won’t revolve and there is no suction from the base.
I read another Yahoo member’s post that said she broke a belt, however with the Dyson slim there are no belts. What else could this be? The manual (one page) is like reading Airplane schematics. There is no trouble-shooting for this in it.

OMG! A Dyson lost suction!? I’m amazed. (literally joking of course)
I’ve always hated the Dyson… so sorry, I wouldn’t know – Call Customer service! They could probably put you in touch with a guy from India that you can’t understand.
If that’s the case.. call back until you get the chinese girl.
