I bought the purple Dyson Animal vac. on Ebay about 8 months ago and have noticed poor suction. Anyone else?

It works better when you hold it almost completely upright. It’s hard to hold it at almost at a 90 degree angle just to make it work.

I have the same machine and have never had an issue with it and I have had mine for 2 years. Can you take it back where you bought it? Don’t they have a 1 year warranty?
