I plan on buying a Dyson Animal Vacuum please help!?

I am using part of my stimulus check to get a Dyson Animal Vacuum. I have two Golden Retreivers, that are inside dogs. Can anyone tell me the difference between the DC14 and DC17? I thought the 17 was newer and better but at some stores the 14 is on sale for the regular price of the 17. Please help! Serious answers only!

I recently bought the DC 15 Animal. I believe the 15 is the newest, and 14 is the second newest. The 15 is the Ball version, 14 is the standard. We just got it a few days ago by the way, and its great, we couldnt believe the amount of hair from our dog that it picked up. However- a recommendation for you- look on eBay and get one there. I saved well over $100 getting it there over a store, and got a free extended warranty to go with it.
I bought my Dyson when they first came out and I love it! My sister bought a refurbished vacuum and got a far newer and definitely cheaper vacuum by buying buying refurbished instead of new. I don’t know anything about the two different models, there was only one model designated for pet hair when I got mine.
