what is a good dyson vacuum for both hardwoods & carpet?

looking to buy a vacuum, and it appears dyson is the way to go. i do have a pet. 2/3 of my house is hardwood. and the rest carpet. i don’t know which model is the best one to get!

I LOVE my Dyson Animal. Mine is the DC14. I’ve had it for a few years. I got it at Bed Bath and Beyond. They’re always sending coupons. I got 20% off – so instead of paying $550, I only paid $440.
I have the Dyson Slim. It works great for both carpet and hardwood. It is light and easy to use. I love it!
