What is the best Dyson vacuum to pick up pet hair?

I have a hoover and it does not pick up pet hair. I am thinking about getting a dyson for animals because I am tired of my vacuum. I looked on the web site and they have so many different models of dyson vacuums for animals. Do they all work the same. Is the dyson with the ball a lot better to buy or is it just a waste of money?

The Dyson DC-17 is a great model. It is the most aggressive and comes with all of the different attachments. The Mini Turbine Head, The Low Reach Floor Tool and Carpet Clean Kit. Also the DC-17 (in my opinion) looks cooler than all of the others do to it’s shiny and more futuristic appearance. As for were to buy the machine I recommend Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew. They have have the lowest price on line for the DC17($489) as well as for the Slim DC18 ($397.99) and Stowaway Canister DC21 ($449). They are a great company to deal with and if you were to buy from them it would be free shipping with no tax if you live outside of New York.
Why do you keep hair as a pet?
We have the purple Dyson. It vacuums the dog and cat hair at my daughter’s house quite well.
I wish I could remember the name or number of the vacuum. I’m at work and can’t look at it. We paid $500 for it last summer. That might help.
I have a DC-07 Dyson (it’s yellow). It cost $300. It has a lifetime HEPA filter. It is bagless. I have 9 cats and 1 dog. This vacuum is worth every penny I spent on it. It is the only vacuum I have ever found that picks up pet fur and pet dander effectively. It is extremely easy to use and to empty out. I would recommend this Dyson to anyone with pets.
You need a vacuum that has a power head to pick up pet hair. I had a dyson and it wasn’t very helpful to me. I had to empty the bin every 2minutes it just made vacuuming a hour long chore. I did some research and found a great vacuum, rated highly on all testing sites, its a SEBO and they had several models too. I ended up getting a SEBO X4, it has an automatic powerhead so u can use it on hard and carpeted floors, hence i dont need to sweep the tiles!!! I really cant tell u how fantastic it is.
U need a kirby vaccumm
