Whick would be the better Dyson vacuum?The DC14 or the Slim Dc18?

Anybody have any experience with these 2 vacs? I would like to get one for my mom and was lookin at the DC18 because of its lightweight.Would i be missing anything by buying the smaller dc18 Slim compared to a larger Dysons?

I would go for the DC18 if you had to choose, the slims are a bad design. However, both of these are very cheap and poorly designed vacuums!! I work on these all day long and they are one of the worst. If you’re going to spend that kind of money, invest in vacuum from a vacuum retail shop. A Riccar Vibrance Standard is 379.00 and will outclean, outlast, out filter, out everything the dyson.
And i’m not just saying that, i have 2+ years experience repairing and working in the vacuum industry and i’ve seen about everything.
